The Grand Opening Meme!
Let's start things off with an open meme! I tried to come up with a wide variety of prompts, so hopefully everyone can find something that works for them. Welcome, everyone!
HOW TO PLAY
— Post a comment with your character, noting name/canon and any preferences. You can specify a scenario from the start, or leave things open-ended!
— Tag others! Head to the RNG and roll a number, or choose your own situation.
— If you're new to this style of RP, check outbakerstreet for examples of how it works because I suck at explaining.
— Have fun!
PROMPTS
① COURT SUMMONS → A lord or lady has summoned you to their home! They might be in need of your advice, or your skills… Perhaps they want to forge a political alliance, or maybe they just want to see an old friend. Who knows what other familiar or unfamiliar faces you might encounter at the castle!
② BANDITS → A Fire Emblem classic. Some brigands are attacking! Do you run, or do you stay and fight? You could use a little help…
③ MERCENARIES → Somehow you've been hired by the same person and are now forced to work together. Or maybe there's someone you recognize in the opposing faction…
④ SHOP → Is that old Iron Sword about to break? Looking for a vulnerary, or something more special? You might not be the only person who's got your eye on a certain item.
⑤ ARENA → Maybe you're low on cash, or maybe you're just looking to hone your skills a little. Here comes your opponent… do they look familiar? Alternately, you're a spectator, watching someone you find particularly interesting!
⑥ INN → You've stopped in for a drink or a bite to eat. Perhaps you feel like a game of dice or are in search of a room for the night. Maybe you've already been there for a while and have had a few too many drinks. Do you mingle with the other patrons or keep your distance and observe?
⑦ ENABLER → One of you is trying to convince the other to do something. Is it serious, like stealing or killing? Maybe you just want them to accompany you to the next formal ball, or help you play a prank on someone.
⑧ LOST → One of you thought that was the right turn back there… but now you're hopelessly lost. Better find someone to help you out. Or maybe the two of you are traveling together and now you're both hopelessly lost!
⑨ TACTICS → Something's coming up -- whether it's a battle, an assassination, a heist, or even a peaceful event, you and the other person have to plan for it.
⑩ COOKING → Whether you're cooking for an army, for yourselves, or someone else, everyone needs to eat, right?
⑪ STRANGER → Who is this person? Someone approaches you and seems to know you, but you don't have any idea who they are.
⑫ INJURY / ILLNESS → One of you has been hurt, or fallen ill. It's up to the other to take care of them.
⑬ TRAPPED → For some reason, you're stuck in a cell together, under siege in a fort, locked in a room… something to that effect. What will you do to pass the time?
⑭ CHALLENGE → One of you is challenging the other to something! Is it a duel, or a dare, or just a friendly competition?
⑮ CONFESSION → There's something you've been needing to tell this person, and now is finally the time.
⑯ ADVICE → You've been struggling with a problem lately, and it'd be nice to have someone to lend an ear. Or maybe you're learning -- or want to learn -- a new skill, and could use a few pointers.
⑰ CELEBRATION → Whatever the occasion, it's time to celebrate!
⑱ MARRIAGE → Political or for love? Successful or not? Is it the big day, your first few months together, or have you been together for years now?
⑲ CUDDLING → Whatever the reason, your characters feel like having some fluffy times.
⑳ GIFT → Time to give somebody a present! Is it a small trinket, or something bigger and more meaningful?
